The masonry and scaffolding companies have done a great job and we are now back to normal @ Imperial. Well…almost normal. There are several pieces of terracotta (on window & door frames) that will not be here until the Spring so we’re almost perfect. For now, we are just so happy to see beautiful King Square again through our windows.
Fund-raising for this huge project is not complete yet so if you have meant to donate and have not managed to make it happen yet, don’t despair! There is still time and we could really use you.
Tickets went onsale last Friday, Sept 16 for the WeAreIT fundraising concert featuring The Trews! Nearly half of the tickets have been sold over the weekend and we are confident this one will be a sell-out.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TRADITIONAL LAND
Imperial Theatre would like to acknowledge the sacred land on which we operate, the site of human activity for over 15,000 years. This land is the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik nation. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land and to share our space with all peoples – those indigenous to Turtle Island and those from the world.
