Pacific Curls
Sunday, May 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Pacific Curls

Join us On Stage for the primal myths of the Pacific (Hawaii, New Zealand) and Scotland’s mysticism, as Pacific Curls create music that is both globally inspired and incredibly enthralling. Backbeat rhythms, vibrant fiddle playing and evocative instrumentation create a fusion of sound that melds their indigenous roots with intriguing edginess and powerful world flair.

A special concert event, an On Stage performance is like inviting the performers into your living room: where all audience members get to sit on stage while the artists perform! Warm, friendly and engaging, this is a concert you won’t want to miss!

About Pacific Curls
Pacific Curls is Kim Halliday (Rotuman/New Zealand Scot), Sarah Beattie (Scottish) and Ora Barlow (Te Whanau-a-Apanui/English), three incredibly talented women who make music that is both worldly and enthralling. Over the five years they’ve played together, the three members have accumulated an impressive instrumental collection featuring the ukulele, cajon, fiddle, Taonga Puoro - traditional Maori instruments, guitar, stomp box, kalimba, various percussive instruments and vocals with lyrics in Te Reo Maori, Rotuman and English.
