The war between the princes, Don Pedro and his illegitimate brother Don John, may be over, but the battle of the sexes has just begun. The nobleman Claudio loves the beautiful Hero. But his friend, the confirmed bachelor Benedick, hates Hero's cousin, the witty, sharp-tongued Beatrice…who hates him back. While Beatrice and Benedick wage their merry war of wits, and Claudio and Hero set a lover's trap for their friends to see them wed, Don John plots a very different kind of lover's trap for Claudio and Hero.
