Event Sponsor:   Corporate Research Associates

Kellylee Evans

You may not know who jazz vocalist Kellylee Evans is, but one sweet hint of her soulful, honey-dipped voice will win you over for ever. The 2011 Juno Award-winner has performed for legendary producer Quincy Jones, and toured with such luminaries as Tony Bennett, George Benson and Sharon Jones and the Da-Kings, winning over audiences around the globe with a sultry blend of soul, jazz and pop.

About Kellylee Evans
Kellylee Evans continues to evolve her distinct sound with her 2011 Juno Award winning release Nina, a beautiful tribute to one of jazz’s greatest vocalists and pianists, Nina Simone.  Evans received accolades for The Good Girl, the alternative-soul pop follow up to the 2006 critically acclaimed urban-jazz debut, fight or flight?, which helped garner the Toronto native Juno Award and Gemini Award nominations in 2007 and a win for Best Female Artist at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards.

Evans even took second place in the prestigious Thelonius Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition, whose judges included Quincy Jones and Al Jarreau.  Her energy-charged live shows have led to opening spots for George Benson, Tony Bennett, Chris Botti, Maceo Parker, and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.
