John Pinette - Still Hungry
A six-time Just For Laughs Festival veteran, John Pinette has been making audiences laugh for over twenty years. Along the way, his unique point of view and self-deprecating wit have garnered him Stand-Up Comedian of the Year honours from the American Comedy Awards, as well as a Gemini Award nomination for his hilarious televised performance at the Just For Laughs Festival in 2000.

His 2004 one-man show, I Say Nay Nay, later went on to become the fastest-selling solo show in the history of the Montreal Festival. His 2006 performance filmed at Just For Laughs, I'm Starvin'! was one of the top-selling comedy DVDs in 2007, and one of the highest ever rated specials on The Comedy Network.

His new one-hour stand-up special John Pinette: Still Hungry premiered on July 29 on Comedy Central. The food-obsessed, storytelling Pinette, delivers smart, original, Bill Cosby-influenced observations on everyday life. John has toured across Canada with Just For Laughs selling out shows in all major cities and has also appeared as Edna Turnblad in the hit Broadway musical Hairspray.
